Hon. George accompanied the co-founder of Uniting Distant Stars, Heather Cannon to South Central College in North Mankato, Minnesota to build a “Sister School” relationship. Uniting Distant Stars™, Inc. mission is to link future leaders and global innovators to educational resources and vocational training to influence positive changes in the world. The School located in Monrovia, provides technical skills training to individuals.
As Liberia continues to rebuild from the civil war, technical training is pivotal to rapid growth. Hon. George visited the institution in Liberia and admired their work. For more information about the institution, visit their web at www.unitingdistantstars.com.

The delegation included Mr. Branko Tambah a long-time donor and Mr. Yakasah Wehyee member of the Board of Directors. The South Central College was represented by Tracy Murphy (Communication Studies Instructor) and John Nehemiah Harper (Enrollment Advisor).
