Global Minnesota CEO Mark Ritchie Visits the Liberian Consulate

The Former Secretary of State of Minnesota (2007-2015) and President and CEO-USA Expo Mark Ritchie paid a courtesy visit at the Liberian Consulate in Minnesota today to acquaint the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Liberia, Hon. Jackson K. George, Jr. about his organization’s activities concerning the public-private partnership to host the 2023 World Fair Expo in Minnesota and its current pursuit of the 2027 bid. Hon. George who is also the President of the Liberian Business Association in the Diaspora discussed the economic opportunities the Expo will have on the state and the role of Liberian businesses in the diaspora and Liberia. He said, Liberian products being put on such world stage is uplifting and rewarding to Liberia. He thanked Hon. Ritchie for the update and informed him of his support.
